Yes! We, too, want to decrease the stress level for both you and your pet, so we encourage you to be present during the ultrasound. Our patients are not dropped off and left alone to face this unknown place. We aim to have you and your pet in and out the door in an hour or less. When the owners are present for the ultrasound, the pets are much more comfortable and less likely to require additional sedation. Sometimes, having the owner there will backfire on us, and the pet will become extra squirrely. We may ask you to step out of the ultrasound room but this does not happen often.

We typically have our ultrasound reports in your veterinarian’s hands within 1 business day.

No, a referral is not necessary. Once you schedule your appointment we communicate with your veterinarian to ensure that the requested service was recommended.

We strongly recommend that your referring veterinarian prescribe oral sedatives to ensure a smooth process. Pets coming in for abdominal ultrasounds need to be fasted for 8-12 hours and ideally have a full bladder, particularly if they are coming in for a urinary tract issue. (Don’t let them pee from the car to our door!). Cardiac ultrasounds don’t require the pet to fast or have a full bladder, but oral sedatives are even more important in reducing stress and providing quality reports.

No, we are neither equipped nor staffed for critical patients. If you feel your pet is in an emergency situation, we strongly recommend contacting your veterinarian or the closest veterinary emergency hospital immediately.

We accept all major credit cards, Care Credit, Zelle, Scratchpay and cash. Please note that there is a 3% surcharge on all credit card transactions.

Our goal is to be completely transparent with our fees. We understand how important this is to a positive client experience. Please contact us to discuss pricing for your particular situation. Sometimes, we also need to communicate with your veterinarian to ensure we are quoting you for the correct service. Once we quote you a cost, you can be confident that this will be the exact amount you will pay.
